Do I own the tooling?

The Proto-Roto™ technology involves a consumable tool; once your run is complete a new tool will be required for your next order.

How many parts can i expect?

Your design is an original so there is no accurate way to guarantee production quantities. We will do our best to evaluate the complexity of your design and give you an estimated range when it comes to the life span of the tool.

Is my design ready for tooling?

The Proto-Roto™ technology requires the same design elements that are required with traditional tooling, i.e. parting line, draft, and no undercuts

Can I run my exotic material blend?

Due to the large amount of materials on the market today, we are unable to vet every brand and blend. We are willing to try your material, but there is a shared burden. These situations will be handled on a case-by-case basis. We will do our very best to arm you with the info you need to make the decision, but ultimately we cannot be held accountable for any unapproved materials / resins.

How do I get a quote?

What type of files do you accept?

We can accept native SolidWorks (.sldprt) as well as IGES (.igs), STEP (.stp), or Parasolid (.x_T or .x_B). Two-dimensional drawings are not adequate for quoting or making parts.
